So the claim is that there have been at least 9 million hours played per day by an unknown number of "kids". That's... profoundly difficult to unpack from "more than a millennium per day". And I'm still not actually sure that's what they meant. Is this kind of construction common?
I understand "man-hours", but I've never heard words like "millennium" inserted like that.
How big is a billion? If you start counting and increment per second,it takes nearly 32 years (more than that) to complete. I think it's a big number for a product to sell that much. If you consider the world population, that makes it even more dramatic. Big accomplishment.
Of course, humanity racks up a billion person-hours now every nine minutes, so in another, probably more meaningful way, it's not much at all.
