I still don't understand. Please be explicit: what would you want to do that the GPL prevents you to do? Don't say "I want to distribute under another licence". If that's your reason, I would like to know why you would want to distribute under another licence (and beware circular reasoning). If you have another reason, please tell me because really, I have no idea.

Selling (or for that matter, distribution of any kind) GPL software under a different licence is not allowed. If you want to sell, you have to keep the GPL licence.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the GPL prevents itself from being used in a dual license scenario on purpose.

On the other hand, choosing to use GPL would prevent it from being integrated anywhere else. You'd also lose the patent protection granted by CDDL.

Don't do it. GPL means unnecessary issues with some of the enterprise companies trying to adopt your product.

GPL depends on copyright, so you'd be eliminating enforceability of that too.
