Does it have a pair of glasses that are the key plot device in a Michael Bay movie?

This makes me think about the immensely cool self destructing sunglasses in Mission Impossible

You know glasses exist, right?

The AR glasses?

It may well have been, though I don't remember any glasses.

Does anyone know what the name of the glasses he wears that blocks peripheral vision?

So... spy glasses?

Fashionable glasses would be just fine. It’s still in science fiction territory compared to the current state of the art.

I don't know what you're talking about. I dreamed of these glasses since I was in high-school.

Guess I'm not a geek.

How about just "the glasses"?

no, I do mean just wearing two pairs of glasses, one on top of each other.

>> You know, next thing they should do is have a little movies, you know, little sunglass movies so you don't have to look, either.

Prior art.

Can you post a link to those spy glasses you mention?

Missing glasses.

Eyeglasses.

I'm sure they put these things in to bait the rumour mill as it feels a bit early for glasses. But they do seem to have at least two variants of that image with different characters, both with glasses 'reflecting' the screen.

I'm pretty sure a lot of bodyguards will be using the glasses to spot people with specific attributes (face shows stress, etc.) in a crowd and love the terminator version.

Or glasses, drone, watch.

The article mentions that the film served as their design inspiration.

"As for the design? Cash says they modeled the glasses after the 1988 film, They Live, in which a magic pair of sunglasses exposes the subliminal messaging in advertisements."

For all we know those might've been regular glasses without any functionality.
