Technically everything on the list is a choice. You don't necessarily have to bathe.

sort by: page size:

there's a drop down at the top of the page where you can choose a shower/ or all of them.

I can't imagine not having a bath. I don't take one that often, but I really like having the option. Also, we need it for the kids.

Option 6. Shower with your friends.

On demand! Furthermore not showering doesn't necessarily imply no washing at all. Like with a sponge, washingcloth in maybe 4 minutes, like eyes, face, neck, armpits, crotch, feet?

You don't have to have cold showers everyday. I default to cold, and when grimy go for hot. You only really need to soap the places where the sun doesn't shine. And your hair doesn't need shampooing everyday. But each to their own.

"It is advisable to have a bath". Now that's a tip that is still valid I guess...

You should think about adding showering to that list.

You can have a sink. You don’t need a bath tub or shower to wash your hands.

One word: "hygiene."

--> Only reason for taking bath daily.

--> Shaving weekly.

--> Keeping yourself clean and presentable.

Even if I stay perfectly still for an entire day I'm still going to become greasy and smelly. Washing is not optional for me.

Good for those who can skip it, but as a member of society, I prefer to stay clean.

According to jobs you just needed to eat a diet of all fruit juice and then showering would not be necessary.

You do realize that not showering/bathing was the norm for most of history? There’s no reason to develop skin conditions because of it.

The article was about bathing, not washing clothes.

WFH I can shower whenever I want, not necessarily in the morning -- as would be the case when I have a morning commute.

And another key benefit is that, even for those who don't shower, nobody else is hurt...

Maybe if taken wrong(the click-baiting headline), but this is not advocating at all for not showering/bathing.

Japanese baths are great, too - you can wash your body before getting into the tub, so you're not stewing in your own filth.

Does showers count?

Hygiene theater? That’s just hygiene. You don’t HAVE to bathe everyday, nothing will happen if you don’t. But doing so is just hygiene.

> I need to shower in the morning to feel clean

Opposite here. I need to shower at night or else I feel dirty when trying to sleep in my bed.
