Wow, I'm super excited about this. Having seen Elijah Wood in the Dirk Gently's adaption recently gives me even more hope that this will be good.

Now, if they also reboot "The Tripods" (with a green screen instead of a blue screen) my life will be complete.

I can’t wait until they just make the movie.

I suspect that something like this is running already on scripts and vfx and that explains some of the really mediocre content from Netflix, Disney, etc (ie, “they don’t make ‘em like they used to”).

Based on that clip, it appears to be headed straight for DVD.

To the actors' credit, they do not seem to be as grotesquely stilted as in the book. It must have been the acting challenge of a lifetime!
