Imperfection are naturally formed, you cant naturally create imperfections that just become by definition artficially created imperfections.

I know we can't actually get perfection. I'm just saying that we should strive for it anyway, rather than intentionally adding/keeping imperfections.

Even this quote implies that reaching perfection is a process. One in which you create a rough solution and remove imperfections and extra parts until the minimal and perfect solution remains.

Depends on the person who sees such as imperfections, not every perfection is the right one. The wise take should be “is it the right one”

I disagree, if you can become comfortable with imperfection in your work you'll derive more satisfaction from the process of creation -- or at least that has been my experience. It requires a concerted and conscious effort but pays dividends both in terms of quality of work (eventually) and peace of mind.
