Well, if you're going to read that magazine you should expect to see contradictory information as it hasn't been a reputable publication for quite some time.

And, yes, I do mind.

It's still publishing. I suppose it does. I hadn't actually noticed that aspect, as much as expecting it in the magazine format they're going for.

Haha, fair enough. I used to read the print magazine though. Maybe it was because I was younger, but I remember it being alright.

Are we talking about the same magazine?

Yikes, thanks for the heads-up. Do you have a link to the first issue? I'm not finding it.

Just to clarify, the last line of my comment is related to the magazines I discussed (and not a criticism of your submission!)

I don't even know if that's a made up magazine or a real one. :)

When I was a teen, we got the ProTeste magazine at home and I read every issue cover to cover. As I grew older and wiser it became clearer that both their product reviews and their editorial content was misguided at best, wrong verging on malicious at worst.

I don’t want to assume I’ll-intent here, but I’m not willing to dismiss it out of hand either.

It's in their "magazine" section.

Issues? You mean there's a magazine?

None, don't remember ever subscribing to any paper/magazine/journal.

You are absolutely right! Sorry about that --- I zoned out on the magazine's name.

Cool magazine, are there more issues there?

Heh. I remember reading this very magazine and reading this article.

They have "magazine" right in their name.

Nice work, but a magazine, really? Does seem a little 1996. (This is not a commentary on the content of said magazine at all)

I bought that issue for the articles.

My bad. I remembered it as a weekly.

Still, many of the mags of the era are still incompletely archived if at all.

No, too new of a magazine ;)

Thanks for posting that. I had that issue and found the article interesting but then lost the magazine (and never thought to search for an online version).
