If this topic interests you, check out the really awesome lecture by one of the original paper authors. It's both informative and very well done.

Forbes does mention the blog, and that's worth following directly too:

Veritasium did a video about Planet 9 [1] with one of the authors of this article, Konstantin Batygin. It also features David Jewitt with opposing arguments regarding the existence of Planet 9.

What if planet nine doesn't want to be found

Planet 9 from outer space!

Planet 9 3/4?

That seems like the most interesting sci-fi plot explanation. Two alternative explanations for why we can find Planet 9 could be: it is a tiny, hard to see rock very far away, or it doesn’t exist.

Planet Nine would be an interesting addition here.

I'm going to assume both of these options have been considered and ruled out. Also, the article mentions that this Planet 9 explains the orbits of Kuiper belt objects as well.

I hope that there is a Planet Nine. I like space related news and I think it would be an amazing discovery

If you end up finding that planet, and a ways to get there, feel free to let me know :)

It's called Planet 9, actually subject of scientific research, because we barely see anything at all.

Thanks! Hoping for that ninth planet :D

Google [or search engine of your choice] is your friend.

We better find the Planet B.

It's nice to see this again. The revelation that space is so big and empty is one that more people need to see. I especially recommend finding and visiting one of the scale models of the Solar System. I visited and walked the one in Melbourne, Australia.

Which planet?

Which planet?

Planet 9 II

That’s great news. How cool it would be to visit such a planet.
