FWIW, I also dislike that those don't point out they're using google.

Some people avoid using Google.

I generally skip "(google.com)" articles because of this.

I don't mind using Google for search; I just don't use them for anything else.

some people dontdont want google in their lives.

Not a huge fan of Google.

This isn't a constructive comment. Elaborate why you dislike Google/Google Search, in a way that adds to the discussion. I think there are many valid reasons, and this isn't one.

What I hate about Google is that they say that they need our information to "improve our experience", yet we can't even tell them what sites we prefer, or which should be omitted, in/from our search results.

Neither do I, which is why I don't use Google.

Some of us DO NOT use Google or anything from them.

I assume you also don't use anything Google related then.

Am I crazy or is the absence of a single mention of Google in that post completely conspicuous?

I find that problematic and Google should do better.

As much as I dislike Google, I don't think there's anything to see here.

I really really REALLY dislike that they use Google as an internal search engine. It's hideous to use and navigate since it also opens a new tab and basically prohibits you from using the site in any normal fashion if you don't like being tracked and using Google

But they don't really have any reason to care what position Google shows up for "search" for someone already using Google to search.

The lack of this feature on Google shows whose interests they truly have at heart.

Nitpick: Google Search alternative

Google? Searching through text? That's not their business.

I don’t click on a search result to read google.
