... so you care about other peoples' karma!

sort by: page size:

...people look at other people's karma on reddit ?

Yes I care about my Karma. I earn it by saying thoughtful and supportive things and I actively spend it to learn sentiment on something controversial.

Are you interested in spreading knowledge, or are you interested in karma?

If the former, why do you give a shit?

People care about karma? About updoots?

If you really didn't care about karma, you wouldn't have the need to mention it.

... but .... but, infinite karma is within your reach! How can you ignore that? :)

> who wants to lose karma?

Who cares about points on social media?

A tip for those who want to build karma...rethink your priorities.

> But after you hit like 1000 karma...you just don't care anymore.

Why did you care in the first place?

>I do try to maximise my karma //

Why?

Come on. You have to know some people care about their karma. Reddit being one of the biggest sites in the world makes that fraction of people quite a large number.

Not just other people, it also comes back to you. So even for the purely self-interested remember karma!

With respect, you're asking me why I care about a feature you have that I don't—that's only achievable by getting more points.

The candid answer: because I take it personally (which is my own fault).

I don't have enough karma... almost...

It doesn't look like you've been participating actively in the community, so why would you, would anyone care about how much karma you have?

You care way too much about karma. It's just a number.

Problem is, they have one more digit in their karma than you...

Who cares? Seriously, everyone needs to get over the whole obsession with karma? It's really stupid.

Karma definitely matters. Hey- at least yours was moving.
