I should rewrite all URLs or move into an actual van! Otherwise people can call me a liar!

Live in a van.

I am being completely serious.

I suppose I'll just stick to the plan of living out of a van then...

That’s cool if you want people knowing you live in a van in the company parking lot… that would seriously bust your reputation.

Tell me you live in a van without telling me you live in a van…but seriously congratulations or finding your passion.

re 2) rent a nice large van! Don't put the wear on your vehicle!

Thats around the time that tons of Youtubers have taken off promoting 'vanlife'. Its all these older Millenials that promote a lifestyle of living out of your van/car because there is no future due to rising costs/climate change/collapse of society so might as well live now.

You're the Google Van guy? Or is this becoming a trend?

almost all of the social media put out by the "van life" folks is total BS and at least some of them have been willing to admit it

the reality of "van life" is Walmart parking lots, not Moab or Yosemite

again, if you follow the van life youtubers, many of them have come clean about the reality of it all

many of them also will admit they actually do have a permanent address somewhere out there

Hey, this is the same guy who did that camper van conversion a couple of years ago!

Really? Tell us more! Why? How big a van? Is having no permanent address problem-free?

Just make sure it's a camper van and not a van ;)

I live in a self converted 21' sprinter van shurg hosing cost means nothing to me.

Lol. Living in a van isn’t hard. If you’re going to be judgey at least pick a topic you know something about.

May I see your van ?

Yet another reason for living in your van (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=5794592)

Tynan lives in his van RV in SF and works on his startup full time. He's been living in it for years. If I was going to do this, I would get a roadtrek and remove the decals. They stand out the least.

I'm going on 2+ years in a van myself and I even started a side project showcasing others doing the same: https://vanvaya.com

Being young and looking to save on expenses, living in a van is one of the best decisions I've made.

She's jumping to conclusions. Lots of people enjoy living in camper vans and RVs. It's a fun, cheap, and adventurous way to live. I know people who own a house in a ski town, and they'll take off for weeks at a time living out of their camper van.

TBH there's a good chance they make more money than the author.

If you get desperate enough to live in your car, this might be a useful resource: https://www.reddit.com/r/vandwellers/

There are a lot of lifestyle/travellers on there, but also people doing it out of necessity.
