you'll need a good book, 75 hours is a long time to spend

sort by: page size:

So it all comes down to "100 hours of something and you'll know more about it than someone who didn't take 100 hours"

Uh. Okay.

250 hours is a lot of time!

Yeah 10-15 hours is kinda crazy for an introductory topic.

I think in 40 hours you can learn more than that.

I read that - but 80 minutes felt extreme.

80,000 Hours.

25 / 3 hrs

More like 75 hours due to the government and their infernal taxes.

80000hours

*50 hours

It was actually 250 hours

Interesting article, thx for sharing. I am curious, do you feel two hours is enough for quality time?

"75 years rule" is the new "10,000 hours rule".

10 hours is a long time.

6 hours is kind of an exaggeration, it's more like 2 hours total which could be well worth it

Absolutely. I'm not sure why everyone else in this thread seems to be focussing on the "70+ hours" part specifically. I agree with your interpretation.

Also the importance of regular evaluation. You can develop a lot of bad habits in 1500 hours.

18 hours doing what?
