If you got banned after a couple of days that means you broke the rules in a big way.

Do you mean you got banned?

i got banned without doing

I am confused, maybe I misread something but it seems like you did get banned for unknown reasons (which very sadly seems to becoming a common occurrence) but has nothing to do with how you looked like that morning? Are you sure you did not violate any ToS even if accidentally?

So basically, you got banned for a valid reason, also you basically admitted to creating another account to get around violations, which is quite obviously against their policies...?

What caused them to ban you?

Yeah, my ban was temporary (120 days?).

You can still get permanently banned after a certain number of violations.

you are "lucky" it was a 3-day suspension... they like permanent bans, a lot...

You’re supposed to not get banned I think.

Why would you get banned for that?

You get banned.

It also means if you were banned in error you are banned everywhere and there is exactly nothing you can do about it. This is bad.

No true for me. I was banned and recovered my account within 2 days by emailing abuse@discordapp.com.

Would the result have been different and would you have reacted differently if it was a normal ban (ie. you were made known when attempting to log in that you had been banned)?

But when you violate a ban, you get fined...

Kinda the same thing..

I didn't know I could be banned. Now that has piqued my interest, sounds like a challenge.

On other forums, when you've been banned, you get an email or message telling you why and you no longer have access to that account. You also probably will have gotten a few warnings from moderators before that point.

That's a good sign, actually. Because it means that you'd need to push pretty hard to get banned.

I've seen more than one case in which someone found out they were accidentally banned months earlier, and took it very personally. I can empathize.
