The camera has to be behind the screen and pointing through it

sort by: page size:

So point the camera at a screen?

That's when you point your camera at a screen.

Some have the camera behind the screen, but still at the top, far away from the center.

Point the camera at inanimate object, or back at the screen!

I can point the camera at a high-resolution screen or printed out photo though.

By installing a very small camera aimed at the numberpad.

Well, if the device is tablet-like it probably will be near the camera / screen.

If I can figure out how to aim a camera at my keyboard I'll try to do so later today.

Very cool, how do you get the camera to point to the right place?

If the camera is on it has to be shown on the screen right?

In the apps that allow it I just move myself under the camera on my laptop so it looks like I'm just looking into the camera. Or I hope that's what people think!

Get an autocue and set up your screen below and reflected, and camera as an external input.

Yeah, this is so awkward. I don't get why no one has blended a camera into the middle of the screen already.

Last year showed a smartphone that was exactly like that: The camera was embedded behind the screen. [1]

Open camera and point here. Done.

Ah, ok. I missed the part about the camera not being hidden.

Why bother pointing the phone, just use the camera built into your eyeglasses.

Or you can just look at the camera instead of the screen

Even simpler. Point a camera at your screen and snap a photo.
