How dare you imply my Jake Take Shake'n Bake Rake Cake (JETSBRiCK) stack is too complicated!

sort by: page size:

I'm fluent with the stack, so this took me like an hour to build. The entire point is that it's ridiculous so I'm glad you picked up on that.

Overcomplexity of the stack strikes again.

stack wise but heap foolish

or a stack!

Sure uses a lot of stack.

As someone using this same stack, among others, I don't agree with this answer. It's the opposite of the simplicity that the poster is asking for.

I was excited about this post, saw the stack, and noped out of there. I was hoping for a really simple approach but this ain’t it.

Stack!

Unrelated, but could you please expand on how firecracker fits within your stack?

Does sound perfect except for being forced to use the awful MEAN stack. What's that about?

I would suggest neither of those, nor ninja nor anything but make. Whatever sucks about a simple/shallow stack, what sucks about tall fat stacks is worse.

I just can't get behind this stack, it stinks.

In other news, I'd love to include this as a stack proposal next time I'm proposing a project through our corporate sausage factory, just to see how far I can get it before someone realises.

What stack?

What stack?

What stack are you using please?

"... start mixing and matching pieces to build your own stack?"

Perhaps because the pieces are sort of like Legos; they're designed to be mixed and matched with known results.

I prefer Ramaze, because it's more like Play-doh to Merb's Legos (sort of; I realize that's an over-generalization), but Merb is not some random collection of libraries. It is (I think) more like Rails with deliberate decoupling of components.

Stack.

What stack

But the name ... couldnt they name it "Stacks" or something
