What's wrong with them saying that?

sort by: page size:

But you're against them saying it?

So they didn't actually mean what they said?

It seems strange that they didn't just say this in the first place.

They explain in the article why they don't like that.

why not? if that is exactly what they are saying.

Because regardless of what they say it is going to make them look bad?

If that's what they meant then isn't that what they should have said?

What you're saying makes sense, but it's very different from what was said in that interview.

What's unjustified about the statement they issued?

They aren't very right, yet people accuse them of it without reading anything.

I can't understand how they think this is OK.

I think they were attempting to portray an example of the rhetoric they don’t like. I don’t think they meant those things but tone is hard online. Unless I misunderstood

Since people don't seem to like that response no matter who says it these days... I guess all I can say is "that doesn't give them the right".

That they're in the right? What?

There are not saying it explicitly, which they should.

You say that as if that's not what they want.

If they did mean that then they were deliberately missing the point of the original complaint. That isn't the sort of thing we are allowed to assume here...

I don’t see where it says they have a problem with it, they just called it out as interesting.

Well what else would you expect them to be saying?

That's not what they said. They're pretty clearly taking a weak stance, and even disclaimed as much.
