Lol literally just posted the same thing. I recently had my regular pull go down and ask for a pretty hefty sum

Happened to me. (Not a big sum)

To part with $30 off a $1,000 payment. Way too much for me. Pass.

Just ignore if you're not happy answering, but do you regret asking for that specific sum or are you content that it was the right amount to go for?

Interesting story. If I were there, I am sure I would shell out $50 faster than anybody else. I hope $1,900 request would trigger some kind of a block for me!

Ya, I dropped in an unwanted $.

I had to swallow once a bill that went up from $80k to >$500k YoY.

So this one got attention due to some good Samaritan on Reddit who told OP to post here. Now, to the real question here: have others not received as good advice and just paid up?

First, I don't pay 3% interchange rates and I'm not nearly as large as the US Mint so that's surely an inflated number.

Second, if he only got $200 out of the deal, his fault. I personally make $20 per $1000 in cashback.

Sorry about that. Regardless of the amount, the feeling of being scammed must suck.

/me to the tune of $765 (a double dip on a two year pre-payment. It was on a credit card not a debit card and the charge was erased within hours.

I think someone owes you $10K.

Exact same thing happened to me but the bill was $11000.

I have to fess up, too.

Back in the early 1990s, I withdrew $10 from an ATM.

But the machine gave me two $10s (they were stuck to each other).

I then went back for a second transaction (secretly hoping there were multiple "stuck $10s" waiting to be released).

The machine only dispensed a single $10 the second time, so I stopped.

Let it be known that I owe Chemical Bank (or whoever bought them) $10 + interest.

I was... $10k?? That's not what I remember.

So I looked back at the original article.

They originally said $1100, but then after I read it they revised the number to $10k.

He was more frustrated than I originally thought!

I was hoping I'd get to know the total in case this ever happens to me!

i would have done exactly the same thing. i mean, we're talking $800 cash...

Explains why that red lump on my back asked to borrow some cash.

Happened to me. I got a 5k bill

Yes, I was so happy to get a $1,400 payment that costs me $5,000. Not that I didn't deposit the check....
