Yet still it is Bing search + Bing ads.

sort by: page size:

Both search and ads are from Bing.

it is still Bing.

Bing Ads.

I switched to Bing last summer because Google was mostly showing me useless ads. Bing is years behind Google, but that's a good thing.

And the irony is, that Bing's advertising is all about how instead of 'searching', Bing is for 'deciding'. Yet they're not even on the first page for 'decide'. More SEO needed :)

There's Bing Ads which alone may suggest otherwise. Also, they operate a search engine.

While they might not track your search history, their business is still built on ads in search results served by Bing.

That's Bing anyway.

It's Bing.

There is also Bing.

Regarding the ads situation, Google Search has been the same in my experience. install UBlock origin and that should take care of that annoying fucking crap.

Regarding Bing - I am still yet to meet anyone who uses Bing on a day to day basis for reasons other than adult content, and the fact that Microsoft "still" has a rewards program for people who use Bing itself makes it very clear that it cannot get enough user growth after all these years and is trying to hard to force it by incentivizing it.

I'm sick of the radio ads already.

"Bing! The NEW search engine". Not a mention that it's a rebrand of a crappy microsoft search.

Bing embeds ads, so no problem there.

here it's more like the Bing team.

It's all about targeted ads.

Actually, Bing is mostly a rebranding of Live Search, which has been around for a long time.

Bing is still the main source.

Then why not just advertise Bing itself?

I guess Microsoft still doesn't know this, a big reason for Bing's growth in market share is a $100 million ad campaign. Much of that ad spend, ironically, is on Google.

Recently I switched from Google search to Bing search. Bing is years behind Google, and today, that's a feature. Microsoft just hasn't bothered to do the obnoxious things Google does now. Bing doesn't have much content of its own. The better search results seem to show up before the ads. It's not flashy, but it's OK.
