I also bought many at $5. One at a time on each trip into Microcenter.
IMO, if I can't buy 10 of something for $50 or 100 for $500, the "real price" isn't $5/unit. Microcenter would pretty consistently sell $5 for 1 and then $15 or $20 for each additional unit.
It depends where you are. Microcenters generally have them for $5 ($10 for the 'W'), although for Pi Day they're both on sale for $3.14. Sadly, there aren't any near me, but I had a relative who is near them pick up a literal handful last time they came down.
Several online places have them for $5, but shipping 'kills the deal' as they say.
There was a brief period at my local Microcenter, after the supply started to catch up with demand and before the "limit 1 at $5" policy. I bought five of the hundred or so in the locked plastic box. I think I could have bought twenty, all at $5/each.
Important caveats on the Microcenter pricing: that's $1,000 OFF, not $1,000 total. And that price is only available for in-person pickup and limited to one per household. Nice if you can take advantage of it, but not for everyone.
If you have a Microcenter near you, they often have 'in store only' sales. Right now a Zero W (limit 1) is $5 and a 3B+ is $25. Right now they list the 4GB 4B due in on the 28th for $55. (All $ in US.)
The price depends on the specific model (last I checked there where three). The one you linked is the dual HDMI, i3 one. I purchased a 1xHDMI Celeron one for $150. There are also bare motherboard versions.
