Hah, you're right- that's terrible phrasing.

Yeah, their phrasing is atrocious on this...

Absolutely agree, it's a terrible phrase.

Man, his phrasing is awkward and annoying.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was appalled that he would use the phrase at all, much less in this context.

What's so bad about saying that one?

bad phrase - it's on another segment

That makes me hate the phrase even more.

Yup. (And saying it's _even worse_ than what you describe.)

You're really just complaining about the phrasing of it and saying that it should have been worded in a mealy-mouthed way. That's silly, it's just an expression of an opinion.

I really, really dislike that phrase.

Worst saying ever

Anyone else hate that phrase?

I kinda despise that idiom quite strongly.

Not just phraseology. The whole attitude expressed in that phrase stinks.

That sentence sounds bad in any context, don't try to weasel out of it.

Hmm, interesting. I'll try to avoid that pattern of speech in the future.

Brilliant. This phrase is so loaded with passive-aggression and condescension.

The problem is that it's always he-said-she-said, especially in the worst cases.

I don't have a problem, but if you're phrasing things like that then perhaps you're seeing an exchange like this as the equivalent to squaring up outside a pub. Disengaging.
