All the time. After having seen the kinds of things some people will say in earnest, I will never begrudge someone missing my sarcasm.

Sarcasm is never unwarranted.

I do indulge in sarcasm on occasion yes ;)

Even I was able to identify the sarcasm on first sight.

I suspect sarcasm is never lost on you.

Yeah sarcasm generally fails. Sometimes I put <sarcasm>...</sarcasm> :)

But after they read your comment people will have always known it was sarcasm.

Sarcasm in response to sarcasm is evidently twice as easy to miss.

I just interpret sarcasm as if it were sincere, treating every backhanded compliment as a forehanded one.

I used to think I could recognize sarcasm whenever I saw it. Then I lived through the past few years.

Nobody would ever double-down on sarcasm.

Actually, I see it at the end. Example:

I totally love what you did there.

/sarcasm

At the beginning, I'd definitely agree with you.

How is it possible to miss sarcasm like this?

Damn it. And I spend so much time making fun of people who can't hear sarcasm.

Yes, and we can never have too much sarcasm.

just like it isn't always easy to see sarcasm in text (unless /s is added)

Indeed!

Which is what sarcasm does :)

Subtle sarcasm is the best sarcasm, IMHO.

Sarcasm pisses people off, or delights them. Or both.

I think people has missed the sarcasm, because it is sarcasm, isn't?
