That is a lie. He said he read it in preparation, because he hadn't read it in a while.

> he just lied. But why?

Because lying helped further his narrative in the public which is advantageous to him. Similar to how he lied for years about FSD.

He was lying then. He's lying now.

He's lying because he's so far behind.

Why would he be lying about this?

so he is a liar

he is lying.

Did you read the statement he put out? He basically said everything was a lie.

> He was not attempting to be intellectually honest.

That's incorrect. He lied in his story; then he lied to people who were trying to fact-check his story.

He said "This is true" about things that were not true.

That's why it was "mostly false" instead of "false". Technically, he told the truth. But the way he wants to spin it is false.

As I read the article, he was just bullshitting.

Well, he was telling a lie.

Well, at least he admits the headline is a lie in the first paragraph.

He was lying.

If he didn't know, it was a lie, it is not lying.

But I don't know what he knew.

he is lying

he's lying

he's lying

If he was lying about it, why would he have written a blog post about it? Doesn't seem to make sense.

What did he lie about?
