You're right – but I don't think "hardware" usually counts as state!

They are not States

Sure, but 25+ states are using the same hardware/software from a single vendor (Dominion).

Yup! I probably should have capitalised it as ‘State’ to prevent confusion.

It's not a state. It's a 'statelet'.

They're wrong - it's state, not federal.

He's uses _n_ for state, so it's not really state-less (in fact, issues 1 and 2 don't apply).

Is not a state.

So not the state?

Yes, obviously my statement excludes the state. I’m glad you understood that but I’m not sure it needs clarifying…

A State is also not a Territory or a District.

Ah, right, it's the US, states are not countries.

No I understand the concurrency challenges with state, my point was that's not really a topic that's front and center.

Interesting because I don't love the distinction between states and things, but that'll happen when you try to summarize this topic into a sentence.

Valid in the state does not necessarily mean it was issued in that state.

But that's at a "state" level.

"The states" are not the Bay Area.

They don't support all states unfortunately.

There's more state than that. Read the source and see for yourself.

I guess it is, but I thought people would realise that I don't think that a bit has three states :P
