Taiwanese have never been part of the People's Republic. Deal with that.

Taiwan is not now, has never been, and will likely never be a part of the People's Republic of China.

Taiwan is not the home of the People's Republic of China.

What's the problem? Taiwan is the Republic of China.

The US doesn't recognize Taiwan as an independent country.

No sane one calls the Taiwan province as a country.

East Taiwan doesn't have sovereignty to declare themselves their own nation.

you don't have to look at the history of Taiwan. all you have to do is look at all the recent election in Taiwan. Taiwanese reject reunification.

Half the world won't even acknowledge that Taiwan is a country.

Taiwan is a separate country and has been for many years. Both the assertions of the PRC over Taiwan and ROC over the mainland are ridiculous.

For starters Taiwan is not the 51st state.

Yet Taiwan still call itself Republic of China regardless of parties. There was never a country called Taiwan.

The Taiwanese people don’t seem to agree with your statement.

Fact of the matter is that US has official relations with PRC and not ROC which isn't even recognized by the UN. There is no legal basis for treating Taiwan as a country.

Taiwan doesn't recognize itself as a separate country. It recognizes itself as the legitimate government of China.

Taiwan is Chinese, but they're not communist Chinese. They are the Republic of China, not the People's Republic of China.

This is so far off-base that it's painful to read. I say this as someone who's spent most his adult life in Taiwan and currently lives in Beijing. Most my friends are Taiwanese. I ran a business in Taiwan for years. At one point I even considered applying for citizenship (despite the mandatory military service).

Millions of Taiwanese people consider Taiwan a country. I have yet to meet even one in my generation who believes Taiwan to be a part of China. This really is a case of might vs right.

Sorry, but Taiwan is a country.

Taiwan still claims they are part of China. It is part of the public farce everyone is playing. To claim otherwise would throw an egg in face of China.

The U.S. doesn't even recognize Taiwan as an independent nation, so your remark is moot.
