The accusation came at a really strange time. I'm inclined to think more people jumped on the government conspiracy bandwagon because of the recent release of the diplomatic cables via wikileaks.

So conspiracy theories are getting more traction, not because the government is up to more shady stuff, but because people are paying less attention? I could buy that.
Was most certainly branded as a conspiracy theory until it was revealed. This is why I think people are more apt to believe other conspiracy theories around him as well
I know there are some ridiculous conspiracy theories out there, but is it too tinfoil to assume powerful actors had a hand in stigmatizing the concept of conspiracy and abuse of power in the U.S. government?
