It has unfortunately. It's used in some of Keysight's oscilloscopes. Even the new ones. And it's not even a new version

Some of the later ones run Linux apparently but I've never seen one. All the Rigol ones are Linux based.

But you certainly could know more than me about it! Why do you think it's exclusively for acting as a USB gadget connected to the Linux kernel it's running on?

It does. This is a Alder Lake device so it's either a Brya or Nissa mainboard. Sourcecode is here[1].
