My BoA account has fees, my Axa account doesn’t.

And don’t get me started on trying to use wires with BoA, they won’t not even tell me why they are rejected, but still keep the $30 fee.

Meh, they are just going to move that $5 fee somewhere else. And it will likely be somewhere much less transparent.

Nothing was won against BoA, they just pushed the fee someplace harder to find.

Sounds like this fee is for new accounts only.

Now you're onto a different topic - we're talking about charging fees on accounts.

That $25/month fee is for accounts that accept payments. I don't think debit accounts will have such a ridiculous fee.

I so feel your pain having lived it in flesh and bones and yes, we're just getting started but those are the pain-points we're working on fixing. Thank you for the feedback and we hope you try Pana. We do not have hidden fees like minimum balance or even debit card fee

can you please elaborate on why they don't have to pay ACH fees?

As long as you have 25k in the account they won’t charge the fee.

I thought SVB got rid of the startup accounts?

They jacked up our monthly fee to like $100/month and we ended up moving to Chase.

Really? I was recently looking for business accounts at the big 4, and I saw that after a minimum number free transactions, any transaction has a fee (cash or not).

The ones who charge a fee don’t make interest on your balances.

I'm guessing that, if the transaction is rejected, then no fees are awarded -- I could be wrong though.

> their bank transfer charges are proportional to amount transferred instead of standard flat fee.

I don't think that is true. From everything I've seen they only charge a nominal fee of 15 cents to do an ACH transfer.

Just double-checked the banking records. There's no base fee.

Unfortunately that’s not how the fees work. You get charged for them whether you use them or not.

No. Financial services don't have fees.

> None except those with bank accounts, who can expect higher fees

I'm not sure what these "fees" are, I've had a bank account my whole life and never paid a cent of fees.

> $5 a month fee on low balances

The fee is not on low balances. It's on low loading volume.

I never mentioned anything about the fee, just that you have to use a different store.

They don't have any fees?

Fairly certain all cards dont have fees.
