I bought a box of tic tacs on Amazon and it was just a bunch of fishing sinkers painted white.

sort by: page size:

I saw some online during a Woot-off, between LED toenail clippers and the 'bag of crap'.

Those look way better than the white donkey pinatas I use to get the kids years ago, more art work. Dont think I've gotten a pinata in 15 years.

You mean, the ones made with Melamine and given a nice white coating of lead paint?

Have a look at the article, they're actual pieces (I believe the kids call them).

We had Christmas paper tubes, balsa fins cut with a dull xacto knife, a hand carved nose cone and a super glued washer as a thrust ring.

Wow These look like fish dicers. Not to say that propellers don’t already dice fish, these just look the part too.

Same for a plunger. Target only sold fancy ones.

I precisely said that I was not talking of those.

Actually when I saw them at first I assumed it was one of those, but upon further inspection, it was a full metal thing and then I got the explanation that they come from a very pricey disposable thingy (I think it's Fauchon takeaway food).

Funk pops in particular are rather blob-like, their eyes protrude like raisins on a snowman so that casting is incredibly easy. For the intricate pieces (like a fish's fins) the main body just has holes, that then have a separate piece placed in them.

Someone probably nicked them thinking they were novelty coasters shaped like save icons.

And they are made out of tiki taki and they all look just the same was a historic fluke.

I think there are a few things that come in more-or-less cuboidal cans. Spam?

It was actually large firecrackers, used by farmers to scare of pests, that he sold.

No, they were already made. I meant to ask what he used to make them, but I never had the chance.

Was it a white one (with a red strip)? Afaik these are the only ones you can't take.

And they're all made out of ticky tacky

And they all look just the same.

> They'll also use little tappers or paddles that sit in your hand and vibrate alternately.

Could you point to a source on this? Genuinely curious to see what these items look like, I searched but no relevant results.

I bought an enormous jar in Napa not too long ago. And the capers are tiny, much smaller than the modern giant capers…

Really? Where can I find these and what are they called?

I would love to try one.
