You think he obtained American citizenship because he likes the USA more than any other country, including his home one?
You don't know his motives. Maybe he just did it because it's more convenient for him to currently work there, and constantly having to organise visas was a pain in the arse?
The "funny" thing given the context of this case is that one the things it would likely prevent him from doing - or at least make far harder - would be to voluntarily visit the US.
"Absent a way to live legally, he has little other choice."
No he has a choice and he chooses to risk being busted and live in the land of opportunities. He can live legally. He can choose to go back to the native country of his parents and start a legal life there. He has graduated from a university in the US. He has done work in the US. He is much better off resume-wise than many of his peers.
The fact that he's domiciled (and seems to enjoy his life) in the US, and that the government has the ability to take everything you own and lock you up if they so decide. Probably.
Even if he did eventually want to live permanently in the US, why would that be a reason to ban him? Does the US only want people who hate the place? If so, they're doing a good job.
i think he was just trying to make it like he knew something.
unfortunalty he didnt but that dosent stop people on the internet.
And i dont actually have any motivation to visit the us. Its too far from home.
But he doesn't have a choice. The USA will not let him in regardless, so saying he won't ever return is a rather moot point. If he was let in to the country and then decided this it would have a much different perspective. He is likely not pleased that he can't get back in he states and thus it is more than likely the OP is not telling the whole truth.
