Headline from this past weekend in Toronto: "Three dead, two injured in shooting at Airbnb rental in downtown Toronto" (https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2020/01/31/four-injured-pos...)

There was a shooting in a Airbnb house used for party in a quiet neighbourhood this year, so this issue has been gathering attention. https://www.thestar.com/news/crime/2016/03/20/man-shot-in-th...

This was the place -

"She called it a 'party unit' and said it seemed like there had been a party going on for three days straight."

ABC is reporting 66 shot [0] and 12 fatalities.

3 People were shot, it should be noted.

It looks like you are responding to the first sentence of the article. The immediately following two sentences:

"A small plane was shot down when it flew over a wedding party with guests celebrating the occasion by discharging firearms into the air. In California, five fans were injured inside the Oakland Coliseum by falling bullets fired from a neighboring community."

I would say the original headline was a ridiculous shot fired, wouldn't you?

There's literally a photo of a wire with a bullet hole.

Of course the shooting 2 hours prior wasn't the exact time this bullet was launched. It's just putting into context that there was shooting going around the neighborhood that morning.

> a death by shooting in Machida

Now THAT's news in Japan!

The title seems to translate that it was a gang shooting? In Tokyo? What the heck??

Here it's: "did anyone hear those gunshots last night?!?" (in reference to fireworks).

I'm confused by the caption under the photo (and I live in Vancouver, right next door to Victoria):

> Victoria MP Murray Rankin: "I heard 10 gunshots at least and huddled with colleagues under a desk."

It feels like a mistake. Anyone know what this refers to?

One person in the photo was gunned down in a "targeted" murder [1].

At least one person has been shot. https://twitter.com/AP/status/1346918654076723202

>> There was a time when you could get shot in the Fillmore, Chinatown, the Mission and most definitely in the TL. Now the only place where you might run into that kind of trouble is bayview / hunters point / sunnydale

Friend of a friend was stabbed to death in Nob Hill not too long ago.

Oops, sorry! You said "shot" not "stabbed."

Imagine harder. This kind of thing happens all the time.
