After graduating with a Master's Degree in IT-Security in Germany I moved to Japan, where I now would like to apply my knowledge acquired through my studies and part time jobs.
I'm interested in part-time or full-time positions in IT-Security or as an Administrator, Software Engineer/Developer or Software Tester but also open to other interesting opportunities.

Location: Tokyo
description: handheld and online games company seeking PHP engineer to join the growing needs. VISA sponsorships and you will not be expected to be a Japanese speaker.
NOTE: Just to be honest and upfront I posting this ad from an agency working on behalf of the company I am recruiting for in Japan. The reason for this post is because there are not many companies offering VISA sponsorships in Japan and this might be of genuine interest to some people.

Japan is a country with an acute shortage of software engineers. And unlike many other developed countries, getting a working visa is much easier in Japan.
Any japanese company can get a visa for a programmer incredibly easily just by filling out a form and submitting some documentation. Very different situation from elsewhere.
Profile: Previously SaaS founder, product manager, developer, system engineer
Work authorization: US and Canadian citizenship with unrestricted work authorization in Japan
I am also part of a "Development Bridge Services" group that provides a development domain ramp/bridge between Japan and English-speaking world. The group includes developers and project/program managers, with working fluency in English and/or Japanese.
Do you have a degree in some engineering and speak Japanese? You can get your visa in about 2 months. Actually, if you are a programmer you may not even need Japanese.
Tokyo, Japan: Applied for an opening I spotted on Linkedin. Interviewed via skype over a few weeks. Got the job, got the standard engineer visa, and that was it.
This position is for a software developer (primarily Perl) in a growing team, working on a large-scale data processing system for a major telecommunications company in Japan. The project is still relatively young so there is the potential for influencing design decisions made as we scale, including opportunities to work with cutting edge hardware. You'll be joining a vibrant and growing team in Yokohama Japan—successful applicants will be provided with the necessary working visa for Japan, accommodation, national health insurance and a very competitive salary.
What are some possible ways to move to Japan within the next 6 months.
I'm a Senior QA Engineer with experience in Gaming, Ecommerce domain. I'm open to different roles too.
If you’re looking for a remote job in Japan it’s worth checking out the remote in Japan repo on GitHub. Heaps of good companies that do remote (including the one I work for).
Remote: Yes but would like a working visa for japan.
Willing to relocate: No
Technologies: Python, Java, JavaScript, Git, Docker, Nginx, Server/Network Administration, Linux, Bash, CTF experience
