Good news for stocks, it means the Fed will keep printing trillions of dollars.

FED could just print even more money to pump stock market.

Totally depends on how much the Fed prints money. They’re literally buying stocks last I heard.

You may have heard the fed printed a lot of money this year.

Meanwhile the fed is about to print another 2 trillion dollars lmaaaaaao

The Fed is printing money.

Err.. I mean, according to them, they are expanding the pool of money available, by buying out the junk bonds issued by corporate America. The same bonds from the cheap loans that they took out at super low interest rates, in order to buy back their shares, thus increasing their stock value, and enabling them to give millions of dollars in bonuses to their executives. While everyone else, gets an unpaid furloughed vacation and unemployment.

Bad news is good news when the only trader that matters is the Fed and his money printer.

Fed pumped 5 trillion dollars into stock market.

Market could still go up. The Fed just has to agree to print money until the strike ends.

The money the Fed printed has to go somewhere.

The Fed can’t keep money printing forever. You’ll see.

The fed certainly generates new dollars.

And yet the Fed keeps printing the easy money.

The Fed can still print money and screw us savers.

Um, I thought I was pretty clear: when the fed prints money to buy a specific asset, then it’s free money for the asset holders.

It doesn't matter if the Fed makes a profit. The Fed can print money - the Fed's job is stabilizing the market and the economy, not making money (which it can literally do at a touch of a button).

And as a note, the Fed has stabilized markets very well for the last eight years - at the price of speculative distortions to the real economy.

FED buying trillions was the rebound.

Valid point, but there are also billions of dollars created out of thin air by the Federal Reserve to pump up the stock market, and perhaps that deserves some media attention as well.

If the Fed wants to print their way out of this, the Fed can print their way out of this.
