How do you ask for the in-browser link? I managed to join a few times via the browser but as of late, i always get redirected to the app and never see the 'in browser' option anymore.

You have to pretend using the app (you get a download popup for a broken link with whatever non-existent protocol) and only after that, on the same page, appears a link that says something like "app doesn't work? try to join from your browser".

Or at least that's how it worked last time I tried a month ago or so.

Have you tried disabling Javascript? The "Join from your browser" URL follows a predictable format, only a slight variation from the meeting link. If you have a meeting link that someone sent you, you can create the web client URL yourself.

Hmm going to https://us02web.zoom.us/join and clicking a join link directly worked fine 30 minutes ago.

This flow (clicking on a link, opening on their website, and opening the app) is what's currently broken. Opening in the app directly bypasses the problem for this reason.

I tried logging on to HN and adding the weblink. Was using Firefox on OSX.

Does anybody else have trouble opening the link? Firefox gives me a "Server not found" error.

The link in the footer to JustYo.co doesn't work.

Neither do links to JustYo.co/username, as far as I can tell. I haven't used the app so the link may have significance to the app even though it doesn't show anything in the browser, in that case I apologize.

I see now, there should be a redirected to a new URL, but it only works as a logged in user. I'll have to check that out... Next year.

It's a javascript link. Try clicking rather than opening in new tab. Worked fine for me.

Workaround: if you have the app and manually enter the meeting number and password, it works.

But hyperlinks are not.


Also very helpful: make that link actually work. Visiting the link redirected to a blank editor on an iPhone.

Excellent, but where is the "try now" link to test in the browser?

On that page all I'm getting is text:

"Pricing Tour Support Sign up Login"

No links. View source code shows html though.

This is on ffox latest and safari latest.


When I command-clicked the link it opened in a new tab and redirected. I'm using Brave on a Mac, FWIW.
