Oh dear. The tones of racism, victim blaming and odious incivility in this
thread is really not befitting Hacker News. Shame on everyone,
including myself for bothering to try.
as usual, the hacker news subset consisting of the echo chamber / hive mind / tech bosses' slave crowd, can't digest / handle comments like mine above, while at the same are fine with the comment in a similar vein by paulcole, to whom I just replied above.
long live discrimination on hacker news! hip! hip! horror!
This is the most offensive thing I've ever read on Hacker News. Seriously - you're not just talking about another person, you're talking about one person in a fairly small community who will read this !!!!
I don't have to read beyond the first paragraph to know that this'll be a rant about 'white supremacy' and how 'evil people I don't like shouldn't be allowed on the internet'.
Feh.
It's a real shame that Hacker News is polluted with these kinds of articles. You simply can't escape the insanity anymore.
> Apart from these specific instances, I’m genuinely sorry for all the hateful speech and contempt directed towards individuals and groups just because their line of thought didn’t align with mine.
And then he spends the rest of the article ridiculing Hacker News.
