China isn't a democracy, is it?

China is many things. It’s certainly not democratic.

China is not a democracy. That prevents any sane people to want to tighten their political relationship.

China is a threat to democracy

China is a democracy? That's news to me.

I'm not genuinely not trolling, but is China really a democracy? I have been to China and I think it's far from being a democracy.

China is not a democracy. It's a communist country. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communism

?????

China has never been a democracy.

China is not a totalitarian dictatorship.

China is now an authoritarian strongman dictatorship since 2004.

Democracy as supported and implemented by the PRC is a sick joke.

Good. China is anti-democratic and a persistent threat to Western Democracies.

Democracy is easily defined by not having the same leader self appointed for life. You can't dance around that China is a democracy. It's ridiculous and adds nothing.

China is a dictatorship.

But China is also an undemocratic dictatorship.

China has a very democratic ideology, you just don’t see it from the outside.

China becoming more democratic has been a pipe dream getting sold by businesses making money off the fantasy for 3 decades and running.

The opposite is currently happening.

In what way is China becoming more democratic? Last time I heard, China doesn't have free elections and those that spoke against the government got jailed, beaten, or disappeared.

Yeah, chinese democracy... at some point.
