This is a monthly subscription to a Twitch streamer. Assuming you re-subscribe (which seems to be the whole point of Twitch) you are paying an extra $12 over the year, which is 2 months of subscriptions and change compared to the website.

That seems significant for even the most lazy person.

This costs a monthly subscription.

But why is this a subscription?

perhaps you should consider getting a subscription one month per year and using the extension the other 11 if you think that's a more fair price to pay

I'm curious, why you even get subscription in the first place?

Why is this a subscription?

It’s more of an annual subscription.

so unsubscribe then you are paying subscription month to month its not a one time fee.

It's a paid subscription that sets up recurring monthly billing of $10.95. Fix the post title OP.

It's $4. How is that a subscription?

Interesting, so it really is a subscription cost as well

There‘s probably a subscription.

Isn’t the trial free? It says clearly the subscription plan is for 12 months.

Makes sense for a subscription you're only keeping for a few months to watch a couple shows anyway.

Subscription.

But it's a one time fee and not a subscription.

You pay monthly, but the subscription is for a year - at least in the US.

Yeah, it's $30 a year, you need to sign in to be able to subscribe for it though

They don't go out of their way to make it clear but it's not hidden that it's a yearly subscription paid monthly. Annoying, but I knew it was a yearly sub when I signed up so wouldn't consider it particularly sneaky.
