I think you could take the FBI's very different approach towards Ghislaine Maxwell as evidence that while the Epstein result was... questionable, there is some amount of vested interest in not just disappearing the related actors. Occam's razor, etc.
I don't think Epstein getting prosecuted in the first place was part of the script. The people who had him killed have enough power to pull off much more complex undertakings.
Don't forget about Ghislane Maxwell. Keep an eye on that story as well. Let's see how it plays out.
The problem with the conspiracy theory is Ghislaine Maxwell would have met the same fate. It makes no sense Epstein gets wacked in jail but Maxwell outside of jail does not.
How is Epstein at all relevant? I believe the conspiracy theory is around powerful people trying to keep their secrets secret. Meaning not let the US government know their secrets so they can avoid prosecution. So the US government would want Epstein alive. Why do you think the US government is prosecuting Ghislane Maxwell right now?
(Not that I buy into any conspiracy theories, but...)
I'm guessing it's because Ghislaine Maxwell (who has now gone underground, whereabouts unknown) was intimately tied to Epstein, and her father Robert Maxwell has plausible ties to Mossad. (Check the Wikipedia on Robert Maxwell.)
From my understanding Epstein was an intelligence agent, who worked the honey trap line. Compromising politicians, scientists & actors. This is pretty well laid out by now re FBI Charing documents for Maxwell.
Is this not the common understanding of the situation?
- Alexander Acosta has been quoted as saying that he was told Epstein “is intelligence” and to “leave it alone”
- Ghislaine Maxwells father, who died under mysterious circumstances, was very likely to have been involved with Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency
- Collecting blackmail material on powerful people is intelligence agency 101, Epsteins trafficking ring had scores of that.
- Epstein got large amounts of funding from Lesley Wexner, with no logical reason ever given as to why. Wexner by coincidence, is one of the founding members of the MEGA group, a group of businessmen who donate money to causes related to Israel’s national interests.
Occam’s razor says the simplest and most likely explanation is that Epstein worked for Mossad, and was running a sex trafficking ring in order to collect blackmail material on powerful people for the Mossad to wield.
Plenty of people are interested in Epstein's crimes. The FBI is still chasing evidence discovered during investigation of those crimes (mostly because it could tie to other people's crimes, and mostly without interference from Epstein's estate, since dead people have no Fifth Amendment protection against unreasonable search and seizure).
But if the question on the table is "Was Epstein killed to eliminate the possibility he'd implicate others in his criminal confessions," the answer is "Probably not."
The difference is that Epstein had dirt on them, some of which is also in a few little black books that the FBI has probably lost from their evidence locker.
Epstein and Maxwell are the only human traffickers ever to be convicted without anyone in the DoJ even questioning who they trafficked children to.
There's a theory circulating that Epstein's network was essentially CIA's honeypot for wealthy and powerful people. I mean, that would be an insanely high value asset if true. And knowing this organization's track record I would not be surprised if this were true.
Or it suggests the victims have been silenced with a mix of out-of-court settlements and threats. Some victims have testified that Ghislaine Maxwell would explicitly and openly threaten their lives in the event they spoke with any authorities. Maria Farmer reported Epstein to the FBI in the 1990s and the investigation was spiked.
There is nothing too thin about the limb the comment above just described. Maxwell really is from a wealthy and well connected UK business family, she really did traffic many, many minors and she really did have many connections (both through Epstein and through other channels) to a whole bunch of wealthy, powerful people in many countries and cities. That an indictment would simply structure its argument as her trafficking these minors just to Epstein sounds a lot more unusual than claiming the opposite, that she instead trafficked them to many well-connected people through Epstein. You or anyone calling all of these essential details "a rabbit hole of "unsubstantiated conspiracy theories" is truly missing the forest for the trees.
