Absolutely, my point was that this system is essentially everywhere, in one way or another, there is no need to say "US", since it's not USA specific system.

> It's a US-specific system

It’s deployed in a lot of countries.

Search this thread for “Ontario” (Canada) for example.

Yes, the only reason I mentioned it is that the US part wasn't in your comment. Otherwise all good!

Sure, but we are talking about the US specifically here.

I am in the US, so I was speifically listing the US because that is what I am familiar with and did not want to make assumptions about other regions. Appologies if you took offense to that in any way.

Well I never said it was for the US, instead it's globally. If you are in the US you would have even more advantages.

I'm sure you're right, I should have specified that the end users I've spoken to have all been in the US.

Fair, I should have said my comments were US-specific.

Yes! Thank you. I should have clarified that I meant within the US.

Sure, but this article as about the US

I wasn't referring to the US in my comment (nor was the comment I replied to).

>elsewhere across the world

In the US you mean.

Yes, my comment is very specific to the US.

True. I said "in the US" which is almost never going to be a completely accurate statement for anything that follows.

Agreed, I'd go as far as to say that not everyone is located in the USA :)

I wasn't characterising the US at all, I have no idea where the parent commentor lives.

Good point, I was just talking about the US.

My ambiguous usage of "we" to refer to my particular country of the United States was misleading. I'm glad these things exist around the world and I hope we in the US can implement one someday.

> In the US

What about the rest of the world?
