That is a weird site. It's as if they're about to try to charge you for the actual info. on VLang. A real air of scamminess pervades - even though AFAIK it's entirely legit, of course.
The pricing is very intriguing (considering how low it is) but the website is so poorly designed I'd be scared to signup. Does anybody actually use these guys? They don't even talk about datacenters or location but their parent company has a canadian domain.
The V website did in fact contain impossibly wild claims that were taken down when called out. Add to the fact that it was closed source for a long time, but had an ongoing patreon, you could easily see the possibility of a scam in all that.
And I personally haven’t seen evidence to the contrary still.
On an unrelated note, does anyone else get the feeling that the vBulletin website looks similar to what a Microsoft Support scammer might refer you to in order to download Remote Desktop software?
It seems that it's a scraper site with all content stolen from around the web. If you go to the vevz site, there are a ton of blog posts copied verbatim (links intact on most of them).
Also, I just realized... Who uses a four letter domain name for this type of stuff?
