Weibo?

Weibo?

Weibo

Yes it is. He means the Chinese 'equivalent' which is called Weibo.

Haven't used weibo for a long time.

WTF? Baidu? QQ? Weibo?

I bet the weibo version is just a managed account by a pr person.

Not on weibo.

A quick Google Image search of Weibo shows mixed results: http://technode.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/anatomy-new-s... - lots of "inspired by Twitter" features there.

Also, most of the articles I found about it referred to it (lovingly or positively) as a Twitter clone.

Also Reddit (ironically Chinese owned).

First thing I thought of was 163.com aka NetEase, one of the most popular Chinese web portals (basically like the Yahoo! of China): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NetEase

A lot of Chinese people have Twitter and Facebook accounts FWIW.

Have you been on any Chinese social media?

Off topic: is there an YouTube equivalent in China? I'm just curious.

Only 70 from China?

I wander if they have their own HN, along with Baidu and Weibo :)

Good. I saw this news from Weibo...

Also you could submit it to geek.csdn.net and other Chinese HN products.

Does anyone have a link to the original source?
