"I'm vaccinated" when you really aren't is dangerous.

But if you’re vaccinated then you’re not at risk? I say as a vaccinated person.

Do they think getting vaccinated is hurting themselves or others? Appears that a 1 in a million chance of a hurting themselves is prevent them from protecting others.

Apparently not because according to these people if you are vaccinated although you are safe, you are still at risk, so you should still live your life in fear.

Okay, I’ll bite. How would it endanger people if I weren’t vaccinated?

You are safe if you are vaccinated. It doesn’t depend on what other people do.

I acknowledge that it's dangerous and that it's a heroic thing to take the risk of getting vaccinated. It's scary, you could die, but you're drastically reducing the spread of the disease.

Whatever you do, don't guilt or shame them. Antivax stems from distrust, and emotionally manipulating people makes the distrust worse.

I am vaccinated

If you're vaccinated you're at less risk, not zero risk.

Do you deny that there are risks to being vaccinated?

> in a well vaccinated population, that you are endangering your child's life by having them vaccinated for some diseases.

I wonder what those risks are like compared to, say, driving your child around town on a somewhat regular basis.

I know it's not the answer you're hoping for, but some people have medical issues which make taking any kind of vaccine too dangerous.

You think taking the vaccine is just be to protect yourself? It's not.

To be ... or not to be (vaccinated!).

Wouldn't that be hazardous for people who can't get due vaccinated due to medical conditions?

I’m aware! Deciding to opt in to a vaccine pass system also harms others. Meanwhile we are warned that if you’re vaccinated, you can still transmit. To each their own!

What dream world do you live in where people don't get sick or die of other vaccinations as a side effect? You're injecting a foreign substance into your blood stream. There's always a small risk.

Nicki Minaj got kicked off twitter for making an absurdly stupid and false claim because she didn't want to bother with getting vaccinated.

You understand the differential of risk right?

You've got a 1 in 10 million or so chance of serious adverse reaction to vaccination.

You've got a 1 in 10 chance of serious adverse reaction if you're exposed to the virus.

You're effectively saying something along the lines of "Do you know how dangerous motorcycle riding is?! We should play russian routlette instead!"

No, you are not. If I am not vaccinated I am far more likely to carry the virus to you, and your vaccine, while good, is not 100% protection. So you have a significant decrease in your risk by forcing me to be vaccinated.

I got vaccinated, but this is an incredibly poor argument. The other poster has just as much evidence that it’s bad for you long term as you do that it’s not.
