They liked to cancel people based on lies and lack on evidence, so they will get what they supported.

Hope they like the concept of karma.

why did they approve it after finding they are already lying?

Does it matter? They're liars. Whatever justification they used for their lie is irrelevant.

lol. They clearly chose dishonesty.

I'm sure some of the support was by people who genuinely believed the lies they were told, but they were lies, and they were told intentionally.

That means they lied without purpose.

They lied.

They lied.

They lied.

We just want people to admit that the reason was a lie

The rest of the post seemed to indicate they didn't deserve the benefit of the doubt there.

It's not just that they passed or didn't give a reason, but they gave a clear lie as the reason.

They refused to remove it after having the evidence of falsehood for a very long time... until they got the personal arguments of one of their 'old guard' members. In other words, they don't care about objective reality and care only about the emotional investment their friends have.

Yes, because they believed in the infallibility of the software in the first instance.

It was only subsequently that that believe changed to outright lying to cover their own backs.

Well, they thought so too. And it turned not to be true. And now they're blaming the others.

This just says they had to fight with some PM who dropped that nonsense on them.

That PM was extremely wrong.

Not them, but the people who lied to them.

You got what you asked for. They will get no sympathy from me.

Sure they were lied and tricked but they are adults. If they spent a second thinking about potential fallout then maybe they would make a smarter decision.

Intentionally claim untruth (for personal benefit) == lie

So, yes they very much did.

They hated jjcon because he told the truth.
