Still no, still working on it. Progress is being made but I'd still characterize it as "don't hold your breath, but we'll probably get it someday".

It has been there for two plus years with very little news and development. I wouldn't expect it to be done in another 3-4 years.

I wouldn't hold my breath. The project has been out for ~8 years and has failed to gain any traction.

You don't really need to hold out hope for this... it is coming and soon. It's been in active progress for years now (its a huge undertaking).

They've had several blog posts in the last year. It's a long-term project so I would't be surprised if progress is slow.

They've been stepping in this direction for about ten years now. Nothing has come of it yet.

They certainly appear to have been working on it, judging from the updates being released. I feel they have a long way to go, though.

They haven't pulled it off yet. They've just finally stated that they intend to do so, not actually done it yet. Prior to this, they hadn't even said it was on the table. So, progress, but they still haven't pulled it off.

I don't know of anyone working on it, exactly because it is so difficult. So, while it might happen eventually, I don't think that anyone can provide an ETA at this stage.
