Its an incredibly well engineered app. I ran it on my phone and it wouldn't even lag and looked incredibly smooth. I have other apps on the phone which wouldn't come anywhere close.
As soon as you used it whether it was pleasant or not it felt like a lot of effort was spent putting together the simple thing that it was.
I emailed the devs once to ask them a bit on how they managed to get it this way but they seemed too busy then. They said they would make a blog. I hope they still do this.
This is one of the neatest applications I have seen for a long while, and the framework it uses is absolutely unbelievable. Just opens up boundless possibilities.
this whole project has been amazing to watch develop. not only is this technically impressive, it seemed like it happened _so fast_. really talented people!
I remember when it came out and I was like oh neat demo. Is this a 64k or something? Then it clicked. Madness. It's not just beautiful code, it's stylish too.
It also has some truly incredible features. Low latency optimizations, audio/video synchronization and the composable shader stack are some of the highlights.
I was one of the early users the OP talked to and I must say it's quite something. The tech is obviously insane. Good luck Jason and congrats with the launch!
