Exactly, for some reason the people i've talked to try to find even more hidden things that they actually are. Which just says how much they loved it. Awesome movie.
It's one of my favorite movies. I love movies or books that get me thinking "what the hell is going on" until in the end there's a twist where it now all makes sense.
I love this film. In the beginning, you are enerved and thinking that it‘s really boring. But in the end, the feeling is fascinating. I like the long sequences and how the tension is built up. Great film.
The Imposter (2012). It almost feels like a spoiler to tell you it's a documentary, the story is so incredibly gripping and the performances so great you get sucked in completely and forget that the lead isn't actually the hero.
I watched this last night after reading your comment. Great movie. Thank you. About once a month I learn about a film I'd never heard of in HN comments and it turns out to be superb. HN's an under the radar movie critic site for the cognoscenti.
It's actually one of my favourite movies from the last few years. But that story is very different, at least because he's accused by the children themselves, whose parents happen to also be his closest friends. Anyway, really excellent movie.
Never realized Daniel Craig had played Werner Heisenberg! Need to watch Copenhagen - the play itself is stupendously good. If there is a production near you go see it!
That's a very good movie. It's based on a superb novel [1] by the Australian writer and director Julia Leigh. The film captures the quiet, minimalist style of the book really well.
Especially when William Burroughs turns up in it. I recall when it was on TV, and people were wondering if it was a fake or not (it seemed so obviously fake). And then it turns out to be real.
