Right, my history of suffering went on for 11 months.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone at Google and I didn't made it to HN.

Divver, I'm sorry you went through what you did, I really am.

Your experience was nothing like what we are still going through today. I'm sorry. Which is something I don't expect to hear in my lifetime.

Your story seems quite similar to mine. I still get chills down my spine thinking about it. But it was a great learning experience, now I know with my experience, and with the valuable input I've received on HN, I will be much better equipped to deal with similar situations in the future.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. It seems like an awful thing to endure.

I do, however, want to be sensitive to the fact that it may have some secondary effects that I'm not aware of, having never experienced firsthand.

This post was unbelievably painful to write.

I didn't want to relive the experience - I wanted to forget about it, but a friend of mine convinced me that I needed to let people know that these things happen, for that exact reason. That's why I wrote it.

If you are comfortable giving some examples of that bad behavior and what it looked like I'd be happy to watch out for it and call anyone on that bad behavior so others don't have to experience it.
