Came here to share this! What a weird and innocent time that was.

Wow, I was like 9 during that period. Thanks for telling me what happened!

Gotta NSFW tag this or something. Hit with these first grade memories.

This is exactly what I thought of! One of the most memorable scenes of my childhood.

I totally remember this happening. I don't remember exactly when as a kid we found out, but I think everyone in my classroom was shocked.

Okay, that was weird.

(And I watched that when I was a kid, too - I don't remember much of it.)

I was young and thought it was cool. I was probably 10 or 11 at the time.

Me too - also when I was a kid.

Hey! My cousin and I did the same. We still talk and laugh about it to this day.

I was there, though as I was only 18 months old I don't remember it.

I did this all the time when I was 13, 14 years old.

My earliest memories of this was seeing the Hindenberg video over and over again in department store demos. Oh the humanity!

this is fascinating, I was 4 years old haha

I'm guessing by your username that you were quite young at the time. But things actually were different thirty years ago.

Wasn't that the time when little kids chose to look at super weird content?

I think that was utterly fascinating. A long hard look at the dark side of the psyche.

This was the first thing this post made me think of. You blew my mind with this back when I was a kid in school. Extremely memorable. Glad to see I’m in good company in this thread.

This happened on my 3rd birthday. Can't say I remember exactly what I was doing at the time but I've heard my parents talk about seeing it on TV.

I remember the night I saw this for the first time. It was after a friend of mine had a “Roadhouse” themed party in his loft where he had a stage surrounded in chicken wire where people went inside to sing karaoke and we’d throw beer bottles at them. After we trashed the place, someone showed us this weird video on their laptop. We watched it over and over, convinced it was brilliant. It felt like a defining moment for my generation. God, I’m so old.

Huh. Now wish young me had seen that video.

Very surreal, I'm going back 23 years and only because I'm hoping that no one will remember those days.
