cough, cough:

Dragon Rouge is a global, independent, graphic design, branding and packaging agency that ignites brands and propels them forward since 1984.

The color printing industry has Snap, Gracol and Swop. Yes, the Gracol logo is a blackbird perched on CMYK dots.

Some of those logos you see are not CE logos, they are "China Export" logos. The China Export logo is intentionally a direct ripoff of the real CE logo so they are difficult to tell apart. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=china+export+vs+CE&ia=images&iax=i...

Agreed. Try this: do an image search for cute cartoon bao bun

There are, completely as expected, a bunch of different pictures that fundamentally look very similar.

I hadn’t heard the back story for this and tried searching it. DuckDuckGo returned generic logo design advice, Google and Bing returned a bunch of results about a similar but different story, Kagi got it in the first result. This was with a very lazy query, just copy-pasting part of the comment, but still telling, I think.

Looks pretty neat.

Their logo is reminiscent of the old Fushia OS logo https://ms.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fail:Google_Fuchsia_Logo.svg

Their logo also seems to be a tiger! :-D

glad you spotted that ;) internal mockups actually had the giant dragon mk logo.

Reminds me of the designer who redesigned Microsoft's branding [0], and got a job there [1].

Is that not just their logo's font?

> I'd like to see the logo

Me too. When I think Adobe, I think red and white. This site excludes white and additionally has a bunch of other colors.

Alibaba is orange and white to me. The OP site has only orange.

That logo and site is some kung-fu mastery.

Logo looks very similar to the Banyan Tree Logo. Banyan Tree is a very famous luxury brand in Asia.

Man, the logo looks way too much like adobe! http://www.adobe.com/

That logo looks similar enough to Adobe's to be misleading at first glance.

Strange, but what Logo is doing in this list :)

Ooh, surprising. I thought I saw their logo in the wall of logos last time I checked.

That is linked from the main article and is itself a bit of an ad for their eye-tracking software with some dubious claims. But it did send me down a rabbit hole over the agency that did the package design. The design came from Arnell Group headed by Peter Arnell. Arnell was retained to rebrand both Tropicana and Pepsi (same parent corp) and the produced the infamous logo redesign deck that circulated back in 2008: https://www.reddit.com/r/Design/comments/hspqgd/pepsi_logo_r...

My guess is that Pepsi didn't know what they were doing, hired an agency who came on really strong with a ton of bravado about how their instincts trump research and got sold a pile of magic beans.
