Yeah, I don't think we're 7 years away from totally fucked. I think it's probably more like we reached the totally fucked point 7 years ago but most won't realize it for another 7 years.

how fucked are we?

I want to agree with you here, but I fear that this reality is closer than we expect, perhaps less than a generation away.... it starts with citizens untied, and it means we’re already fucked, just not completely, not yet.

The headline is talking about a point of no return for a specific threshold or feedback loop, and there seem to be no end of those, for decades to come. As for the "we're fucked" point of no return, we'll still need to first precisely define it.

So we're fucked?

Yep, it's genuinely hard to comprehend the levels of screwed we are in the long run.

Is this true? Are we basically fucked in two years?

I think at that point we'll be well and truly screwed.

Let's face it, we are fucked.

Indeed, yes, nothing is certain... The other part, which is about certain, is that we'll have been dealing with the fallout of this particular meltdown for 30 to 40 years, or more.

We are totally fucked.

It’s hard to imagine the outcome will be as bad as our current trajectory.

We're so fucked arn't we?

Like you say, things are bad enough without exaggerating the situation.

If you think this is all over in anything less than 4-5 years in terms of economic impact, I don't think you've understood what has really just happened and is about to happen.

You're better off trying to figure out how long we have until it gets a lot worse.

Given the current state of the world, I don't see this ending in an optimistic lens. At least not in the US.

It is frightening that we have gotten to this point already.

We're all fucked.

So... we're fucked.

So basically we're fucked.
