It's extremely easy to notice. I'm surprised you didn't. It's heavily forced.

Is it? It seems incredibly forced to me.

hehe, yeah. it's a bit forced. but who cares right? :)

I agree. It feels forced. But exposure is important.

I've noticed that. It seems rather blunt and unfeeling to me.

I honestly thought it was a bit overdone and should have been more subtle. Meh.

I think it looks off putting, but it really depends on the audience.

I think the tone is intentionally aggressive - it drives clicks and spices things up - I was at least entertained.

While I agree the tone is extremely off putting, I think that's what it's getting at. By using what's being made, they'll be able to get the feedback you're talking about.

You're right - I guess that's what I was trying to get at with the lack of subtlety. Or my standards have slipped.. ;-)

I'm not criticising it for being overwrought, rather that it is self-consciously attempting to be "elegant" in an unnatural way.

Thematically it’s pretty much on spot but stylistically nah. It needs to relax a bit and be a lot more informal / speechy and throw in some expletives here and there I suppose.

This was my first impression. I think your comment is constructive and wish people who feel different would explain why.

I will agree with this. I think this one lacks subtlety.

Bland, soul-deadening consumerism is one of his major themes so what you noticed is intentional.

I see what you mean, it's "going through the motions" without trying too hard, compliance but not enthusiasm.

It's a bit rambly, but that seems more like a stylistic choice than a flaw.

It feels pompous to me.

i think it's lack of expressive power will turn off newbies

Yeah...the "lol" thing is off-putting though. Makes it feel like I'm reading an 11 year olds diary.
